Why we live in San Diego?

We've been asked this from a few people, and lately, we've asked this of ourselves. Aside from the ridiculously high cost of living, being on the opposite coast from immediate family with a baby has not been easy. But it's around this time every year we are reassured why it's so great to live here, and why they say this is America's finest city.

Here's a snapshot of our day at the beach today. March 9, springing forward into Daylight Savings, it was absolutely perfect - temp was mid-70's and not a cloud in the sky. We enjoyed two straight days at the beach over the week-end.

It's been a great year so far, with lots of adventures in our hometown. We've had a few outings - the Natural History Museum, the San Diego Zoo, and lots of fun times at the house. Curren is blossoming into a funny, inquisitive and active kid. We are looking forward to celebrating her 1st birthday at the end of this month. Enjoy the pictures!

Now from Japan, Inaba family, Iwamoto family and Abe family are visiting your blog and veiwing Curren's pictures, frequently. It is unbelievable comparing to your young days in 70's and 80s, Aki. And you should keep updating Curren's youth days which will be the most precious assets for our entire family.

Great jobs!!, Aki and Greg.
