Get better soon Nana!!

Curren asked me to make a special post for her Nana, who (for those of you that have not heard) had a little bit of a health issue recently. Curren wanted to dress up in the pretty red dress that Nana got for her during her last visit to wish her a swift recovery and to send her love. She says "NANA I LOOOOVE YOU!! GET WELL SOON!!" and sends many wet baby kisses.

Day Care Report!

Today was Curren's first day at daycare, and we are happy to report that she did awesome!! She took three bottles every 3 hours, 3 good naps, and had loads of fun. She spent the day enjoying tummy time, looking at herself in the mirror, and reading some books. She's already made some friends, and her caregivers are very nice. She didn't fuss at all except for when she was hungry or tired. I guess we were worried about nothing... Better that than our worries being justified.

Rice Cereal?

On Saturday, August 4, Curren tried solid food for the first time! On the menu: rice cereal made with Mommy's milk. She was a little apprehensive at first, but she took it like a champ. Enjoy the pics!

South Park Mania!

Prompted by Brian, Aki took a shot at rendering the Martin Family as South Park characters. Greg, Aki and Curren were created using the South Park Studios Website (www.sp-studio.de), but the dogs were created free-hand by Aki, using Photoshop.
