College Football Bowl Heaven

The meat of the bowl season is almost here so here is the bowl game schedule. Go Dawgs!!

Happy Holiday's. Chargers have a first round bye!!

With an almost miracle last minute Rivers to Jackson TD, the Chargers won Sunday and have secured a first round bye. If the Chargers can win with Rivers going 1 for 9 in the first half, they are gonna be smoking once he settles down a bit. Now we need a win this weekend against the Cardinals and the Bolts will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs or if Baltimore loses, the Bolts could still lose and have home field advantage.

Charger Playoff picture thus far

Charger win this weekend against the Seahawks=1st round bye. Win and a Baltimore loss=1st round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Charger loss this weekend and Colt loss=1st round bye only.

If the Chargers win and Baltimore loses, I wouldn't expect to see many starters next week against the Cardinals.

Offensive Line Love

LT won the FEDEX player of the week last week for the second time this year and is well ahead of the pace to beat Shaun alexander's single season touchdown record. The O line and Lorenzo Neil deserve alot of credit for his success. I'm stoked watching this team and can't wait until Sunday's game against the Bronco's where they could clinch the AFC west.

Chargers 10-2

Another fine performance. LT had 178 and 2 TD's. Rivers did well, except for the three fumbles, only 1 lost. The 13 play, 80 yard, 8:06 minute, clock eating drive in the 3rd quarter kinda put the nail in the coffin. It was good to have Merriman back and the pressure he put on the Bills offense. Gates caught some key first half receptions. It almost seems like they are holding back on the Gates factor, but maybe as the season progresses, he will become more of a weapon. I'm not gonna jinx things, but the Chargers are lookng like a team that likes to win football games, regardless of the city, weather, or the 1st half score. GO CHARGERS!!!!!!!!

Aki's Beautiful New Figure at 21 weeks

Curren's been having a ball in that little belly. I felt her for the first time (for sure) two nights ago. Last night, we could actually see the kicks.
